Happy with Watch.
The watch came to me in great shape. I did have to use soap & water with a toothbrush to clean residuals left by previous owner. This is not unexpected for any used item that you buy. I had no issue synching to my cell phone and having the Garmin Connect App initialize and reset the data so I could customize the watch for me. I also linked the data to MyFitnessPal to track my food intake and daily exercises. This is a unique watch that doesn't require a battery change for approximately 1 year. If this meets your fitness needs you will like it and the battery life!
I am pretty happy with this as I did not wish to connect to my phone for calls, texts and email. Only wanted step and sleep data. Fairly easy to use. I mainly did not want the nuisance of regularly charging the device (and then forgetting to put it back on), and this has batteries that need to be replaced infrequently. For me that was the most important factor. It is easy to read. It does not have the heart rate monitor, but again, my consideration was the longevity of the battery vs. frequent charging. The small/medium band was way too long so I ordered generic bands in small and they are much better for a 6.5" wrist.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Garmin vs Fitbit...Garmin wins!
I had to get rid of my Fitbit because they no longer offered the option of syncing with a computer instead of a smart phone. I liked the idea of the Garmin, mostly because there was no charging required. Now that I have it, I am sold. There are more options than the Fitbit had and I am happy with it. Overall good tracker
I have owned various models of the vivofit tracker. It is a very good product with a long lasting battery. The only drawback that I see personally with the vivofit 4 is the metal buckle. I have accidentally got the band caught on something in the past and with a buckle band there is no give and it did cause bruising on my hand and wrist. The vivofit 3 with the plastic latch if caught on something would just detach and fall off. Basically a personal preference in regards to the strap type.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Works great! I have loved the Garmin products because of the long battery life and I don’t have to charge it when I sleep since half of the point is the sleep tracking. Vivofit 4 a positive improvement.
