One tangling mishap after another thrusts the two parents together as they take flight in a mad caper that includes counterfeiting, shootouts, and a South American leader who thinks he's Seńor Wences. The nonstop hilarity also includes Nancy Dussault, Penny Peyser, Michael Lembeck, Ed Begley Jr., the fabulous Richard Libertini, and a wild-haired David Paymer as the cabdriver. This underrated buddy comedy is a gem from start to finish.

    Ageless, Classic, Enjoyment...very funny.

    This film ranks in my top three for laughs. I finally acquired my personal copy, for the same reason. Film is classic Peter Falk and Alan Arkin.

    A Great, Funny and Classic Film!

    Great acting performances by both Peter Falk and Alan Arkin! Falk played the father (Vince) of the groom; the one who kept driving his in-law and father of the bride, Sheldon (Arkin) crazy! It really made me laugh how they survived eachother throughout the film! I mean, they were a perfect pair! Falk played a CIA agent who got Arkin to do dangerous and outrageous tasks in New York, while Arkin, the famous New York dentist, was trying to postpone the wedding, being reluctant for his daughter to marry into Vince's family! Despite Sheldon's unwillingness, he followed Vince around the world embarking on hilarious adventures leading up to the wedding, making this movie very riveting and funny! Highly recommend it!
