      Description was accurate, but failed to say that the voice on answering was a women and so soft that I could not really hear it and had to get up every time and go to the phone, which defeated the purpose of the voice announcement The phone was well made but failed me on the most important thing. Thus the 3 stars instead of 5.

      Who's calling?

      This is the best phone set I've ever had! I love that after the second ring, the caller's name is announced. I don't know where the name comes from that is announced as some of the names don't jive with the caller's name. But, the phone makes calls easy to dial, or answer. I haven't managed to figure out how to use a lot of the extras that come with these phones - but I love the basics that I've managed to figure out! Having the second, cordless is also a bonus!

      Works great

      No trouble setting up. In fact I had an one of the same model that I thought had been zapped by lightning but it turns out the old AC adapter was the only thing that was zapped. I plugged in the adapter from the new phone and the old phone worked like a champ. I assume the new phone is fine. I guess I'll find out if the old one ever actually breaks.

      The AT&T CL84102 DECT 6.0 Expandable Corded/Cordless Phone with Answering System is extremely easy to set up and start using right away. Took me 5 minutes and didn't even read the manual. It's HD Backlit Caller ID is perfect for those who have eye sight issues like myself. The screen is large and has a clear resolution. The Caller ID Announce feature is incredible as, if you don't want to run to the phone you don't need to as the Announcements are crisp and clear. The Answering Machine works like a dream. Oh and the best part is, that the Cordless Phone that comes with it, allows you to hear messages, has Caller ID Announce, Excellent Backscreen Lighting and DOES NOT need to be plugged in to a phone jack. You can literally put the handset anywhere. I would recommend this product to anyone ...
