This item works great for a portable unit. It isn’t made to do day-long work but you can accomplish a lot in the time you get if you do it right. Getting a second battery may be useful if you have a more lengthy job. The charge time for the 4ah battery can be 2.5-3hrs (the last 20% is a trickle charge like a cell phone in most lithium batteries) between Jobs. If you use it consistently before the battery dies, you also need about 30 mins for the battery to cool down before it accepts a charge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
