      Recommended by veteran boat repairer

      Used to stick the fin back onto my single sculling boat. Seems to have created a strong hold, despite there not being much room for the glue in the slot the fin fits into. It's quite sticky, but unlike similar glues it is easy to wipe away excess with a water dampened rag to create a neat line. Was recommended to me by a veteran boat repairer at the club, so has been tried and tested! Only comment is that a white version would be better for rowing boats, as most are white and it would blend in more. But this is a very specific niggle!

      Effective.

      This was bought specifically to glue foam padding into a carbon fibre freestyle kayak. It worked. Other bonding agents didn’t (we tested first, so no harm done, other than wasted time and money). No chemical interactions or refusal to adhere to either material (carbon or foam). The stuff mixes very easily and spreads well - a butter knife or plastic spatula will do the job. We used duct tape to hold in position, weights to maintain pressure and left it completely alone for 24 hrs. It is fairly expensive for a small amount. We required most of 2 packs and would probably have slathered it on more generously if we hadn’t seen early on that we wouldn’t have enough to complete the job if continued that way. Important to reiterate: It worked. The kayak has been out on the water for a total of 6 ...

      It works, which is all that matters.

      This adhesive is effective in marine environments, as promised. It mixes and applies easily. Best to leave it for longer than 6 hrs - overnight is better - to be sure of a firm bond; Placing a weight on top, and/or binding in duct tape also ensures maximum adhesion ( just remove tape carefully next morning). We have found it VERY effective with carbon fibre and foam (kayak). Only two criticisms: you don’t get very much (we used 2 and a third would have been ideal) and it therefore isn’t quite the bargain it may have seemed, but because it works, who cares? Two other bonding agents really didn’t.

      Does the job!

      Purchased to repair damaged waterfeature which has bee achieved £ 100%.Its the exact colour match to the slate stone on rockery & waterfeature.Heatwave has flaked off paint on one waterfeature & exposed different coloured fibreglass beneath.Have colour matched damaged areas by using product not as a glue but a paint on seal to great effect.

      It's good, and my word is my bond.

      After trying other "waterproof" adhesives on my mushroom pop-up bath plug I seem to have found one that really works for more than one bath. In fact I've also used it for other jobs and it is the dogs dangly bits.
