    3-1/2 year old loves it

    We already had the original Candyland and this Dora version just adds to the fun. My grandson won't quit playing -- he has the Dora version at his house and the original version at ours -- and is wearing us out! It's easy to match the colors or picture cards to the board layout. And the rules are simple to absorb. One "new rules" tip from the internet: We play so everyone takes TWO cards per turn. That way, a little one won't get demoralized if sent back by a picture card -- just choose the other card. This tweak also teaches how to compare two cards against the board and make a decision. It also speeds up the game. In our case, that just lets our grandson start a new game sooner: "Let's play Candyland!"
