    Great product

    Sony no longer makes under-cabinet CD players. Only cheap brands make them anymore. I found out that back in the day, the new price on this model was about $20 - $30 higher than the ICF-CD543RM. So I assumed it was a better model. I am glad for my choice. Besides, this player has a thinner "visible" profile than most, as you hardly see the speakers just looking at the unit, after it's mounted. The other models appeared much thicker, more bulky looking. Great sound on this unit, too.

    Excellent seller; great product.

    I already owned one of these Sony radios, so I I knew the product to be good and only had to find time to make sure everything worked, which it did. As a retired engineer, I admire the simplicity of the design, and it is apparently put together with quality components. It is a MUCH better product than the two far-more-expensive table radio/CD-players that I purchased, both of which failed in record time. I will try to review those purchases and save others from dealing with either company. I must also comment that I rate the person selling this item to be A+, which I will report in the appropriate place on eBay. It was packed with enough bubble paper to survive anything short of nuclear explosion. I was surprised to find he had even included batteries in the remote. Kudos!

    Good but not Great

    Good design and features. Reception is not the best. Am/fm okay but cannot receive any weather stations yet my stand alone wx station receives two broadcasts. CD player works good and has good overall sound.

    Great sound and design

    So well made with Sony speakers, bass range, even if it is such an old product it actually has a band where you could pick up analog TV station sound. No other under cabinet radio made today has both AM /FM radio and good sound. No Bluetooth but other than that a good product. We used our old one till the buttons wore out. Hope to keep this one a long time.

    High Quality Kitchen Radio

    Great sound quality and nice features! It has a very sleek, appealing look as well. It's a quality product from Sony which we will get many years of enjoyment out of. The only thing I miss that our last radio had was a light, but other features make up for that. It has a NOAA weather station and the presets are handy. Great radio/CD player for the kitchen!
