Fantastic quality for the price. The movement in both directions is very smooth and no noticeable backlash. The vice can with a thin coating of grease (not used motor oil as is often the case with cheaper machinery). That cleaned off really easily and once it was oiled up it was perfect. All edges appear parallel and the resistance is constant across the full length in both directions. For home use on the weekends this is an absolute bargain
