The apu itself was easy to install but the included fan was a struggle. Finding the right balance so all four screws connect is very difficult. The thermal paste that comes pre applied can become a mess. Once the installation is done, everything runs smoothly and the settings can be accessed through the motherboard bios. Even without a graphics card, I'm able to play Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen at max settings.

good processor but the graphics are not so great. 720p to 900p is about the highest resolution for game play. returned and bought a ryzen 2600x and will install dedicated graphics. This chip is about equal to a Intel i3 8300 but with better graphics

4 cores/8 threads CPU with integrated graphics...it works. I put this on a Gigabyte AB350 Gaming 3 motherboard I had RMAed for a dead BIOS chip, tossed on 16gb DDR4 2400 RAM I had on hand and my grandson has a PC he can watch videos on and do some light gaming when he gets a little older.

If you want integrated graphics, this is the chip to get (Q4 2018). Good enough for light gaming, esp. with fast RAM (3000+). CPU is pretty decent, and cheaper than equivalent performing Intel chip. Cooler is good and quiet, and it looks like there will be some room for overclocking, even on the stock cooler.

The CPU if perfect. Very powerful. The iGPU sure faster than any Intel iGPU but you should not expect from it a lot. Nvidia 1030 is a bit faster. So this proc is ideal if 1. You build a PC mainly for work and just sometimes for games. 2. You plan to buy something like nvidia 1060/1070/1080 or radeon RX 470, 480, 580 but short for money for the moment
