AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Well - what can you say about a product that destroys an Intel 990x (I know that chip is 10 yrs old) the price performance makes you wonder why you ever bought a high end CPU. This thing kills my 1920x and 1900x setup in speed, power and cooling. This darn thing passes 40k benchmark in 3dmark06 not overclocked RAM set at 2133mhz. The Samsung evo 980 4.0 boots to my desktop in 11 seconds. My PC drops as low as 62 watts with two addtional 2.5inch SSD. Paried with XFX 6700xt at 1440p you can play all the latest games with High/Ultra setting no worries. If you want a cheap build with a Strix board you won't be disapointed. I've been building PC's for 20 years for myself and customers and never experienced this type of performance for such a low price.

Great CPU
Very happy with the capability of this processor. I upgraded from an Intel i5 3550 quad core and obviously anything above 4 cores is going to be better. However, to the extent that the 3600 has shown me is amazing.

Older cpu but still has grunt
I bought one of these cpu's when they first came out and it is still working well. This one has been installed as an upgrade to an older cpu that I had in one of my other computers. This particular cpu is running at about 4350mhz with a little overclock and under volting and I could not be happier with it. It is on a par with the new one of these I purchased when they first came out. I would recommend this cpu if you want a cheaper alternative to some of the newer ones available. It still has plenty of grunt and you would not be disappointed.
