Nothing compared to diecast. "Composite" material makes the model feel cheap and sometimes feels like it's going to break. Shut lines are marginally better than diecast, but not enough to claim that this material is better suit for a model. Paintwork is supposed to be smoother (so I've heard) compared to diecast, but orange peel is still evident. I only recommend this model because it's the only LC500 out there currently. The metallic white paint looks regular gloss white unless inspected closely (due to the orange peel refracting the light unevenly). Overall this model is ok in terms of detail, quality and finish work. For this pricepoint, unless you really need this model and there's a possibility of another brand making the LC, I'd hold off on it.

The attention to even the smallest detail is amazing. It is finely crafted and true to the actual car. Definitely not a toy but a finely crafted model.
