This is the first iPad I have owned. It is excellent...very easy to use and very quick on the internet. I just can't fault anything with it...so...a very happy customer :-) If anything, about the only thing that I can fault with is that you cannot simply upgrade the data size...that is a stumbling block..what you start with is what you have. I love the screen on this...big enough to watch a movie or a tv show..sport maybe. It's not cumbersome and it is light.

Upgraded from IPad mini 2 which had virtually grounded to a halt. Decided to go for larger size and have no regrets. The speed loading safari and apps is great. Camera quality excellent.

As the owner of a 2011 iPad, I expected significant improvement in the intervening 6 years. For the most part the new device has lived up to expectations: the device is more compact, palpably lighter, with a better screen and speedier performance. It's also relatively affordable for an iPad. I have been a bit disappointed with the battery life, however. It drains faster than expected, and the device gets a little hot in my hands when watching video. I'll see how it goes over the next week or two before taking it to the Apple store for testing.

I purchased this for my husband and he is not tech savvy but he has found it very easy to use.

As nowadays everyone's cell phone has hotspot function, there might be not necessary to buy a tablet with cell function. Only when you sign up a bundle contract with a supplier for a good price.
