I purchased this ipod so I can store all of my music and listen while running and walking. It is simple to use and light weight enough to use while running. The display is clear and you can quickly scroll between the different functions. Syncing with iTunes on my PC was quick and easy too. I initially had a concern as it didn't register any of the music I copied onto it, but when I plugged it into the PC I could play it via iTunes. Not sure what was going on there but the music did "pop up" after tinkering on the PC - I assume I wasn't doing something right but this was a bit frustrating. So far so good since then though.

The Ipod has a wonderful sound. The battery seems to last several days. Very easy to navigate and find my way around.

just finding my way around this lovely device - would have been good if it came with a manual - but when you take the time - it is pretty self explanatory. I use it to store my lectures for uni, store photos and music. I dare not get into the games for I fear I will never put it down. I have used it to navigate addresses - I am looking forward to spend a lot of time discovering some more of its uses.
I bought this product as I couldn't afford a new one. It is a great product, not as up to date, of course, with the later models & unfortunately it has a home button that doesn't always work, which makes it difficult. Overall I would purchase a new product without hesitation. As far as comparisons go, you can't go passed Apple as their support is second to none.
