Print, scans, fax, laser. Does a great job, my first one went over 15 yrs/35,000 copies with very few minor problems. Picked up this one with light use after my first needed a new fuser, for about the price it would take to fix the old one, perfect! I was told by a tech that Brother laser printers are very durable and reliable. He was right. The newer models are faster, sound smoother, got this because I still had a box full of cartridges and drums for it.

The machine has problems with the paper getting jammed almost constantly. I have to fix the jam several times before I can print😫

What I really like about this all-in-one copier/printer/scanner/fax is its simplicity when compared to other all-in-one machines. It is as compact as a small laser desk printer, not a towering beast like most all-in-one machines. It is quiet operating, and spits out the first copy in seconds. To top all that, the Brother DCP-7020 has an easy menu button that doesn't take an owner's manual to figure out each time you wanna change settings. Add the price, and the fact that it makes clean, crisp laser copies, and you can't beat the Brother DCP-7020. It comes with scanning software that seamlessly integrates scanned pages into Adobe PDF files (as long as you have one of the paid versions of Adobe Acrobat). Finally, I recommend that you buy one of those toner refilling kits on Ebay, and refill your own cartridges. It will save about $60 per cartridge, and takes only about 5 minutes to refill. That brings down the cost per copy to about a penny each, instead of 5 or 6 cents per copy if you buy a new cartridge after the original is spent. I've enjoyed mine so much, I bought a second one for the home.Read full review
I purchased this printer from ebay because I purchased this exact model over 3 years ago and I LOVE it. We have another piece of property and I wanted the same printer at both locations. Only have to have one driver loaded on the laptop, same toner, same specs, etc. Just thought it would be easier for me. The printed documents are always clear and crisp, and it makes excellent copies (hard to tell which is the original). I have never used the scan function, but assume it would be just as satisfactory. We run a home based business and have a daughter that just finished high school so it gets used often, but nothing very high volume. The original unit which was purchased over 3 years ago, still runs perfectly and I have had no problems with it whatsoever. Just replaced toner as needed, clean the glass and blew out the unit a few times and that's it. What could be easier? It is a bigger printer, which I suppose would be the downside, but it does a lot and it is older so I can forgive that. Also, when I have printed labels those have to be manually fed is through the front. It works better if you hold the paper or the paper guides because it can slide a bit and turn out crooked. Again, no big deal since I don't do that often. Overall, very happy with this printer and would consider another one if ever needed.Read full review
First off, I'm not especially good at writing reviews. My main reason for buying this printer was of course the price. I wanted a better and easier way to address envelopes and laser quality letters. Scanning isn't very good for this printer, however it does make up for it on the copy feature. I found that in comparison my HP J5780 does a much better job on addressing envelopes than the DCP-7020. The 7020 isn't that musch faster than my J5780, and the only real advantage I have found is that I get around 1500 print outs and a better copy feature from the 7020, as opposed to around 200 to 250 print outs from the J5780 All-in-One.
