This is 4th pair of Beats I have purchased. I previously ordered 2 pairs of a couple years ago and recently picked up the new wireless option which are pretty sweet. I decided to get these as a gift for someone. For those that love bass in their music these are perfect. Low end bass is tight and the mids are fantastic. High end is good but not elite. I do like the studio version of the Beats for the fact they have the over the ear cup feature. Great for getting lost in your music and tuning the outside world down a notch. The control talk cord is a nice feature to answer and end phone calls. You can also adjust the volume with them as well. I definitely am satisfied with all of the products from the Beats line I have purchased. If your musical enjoyment is important to you, these are definitely a good way to go.Read full review
Just received my pair of purple Beats Studio 1.0's today. They were "never used" in box with all inserts. Confirmed authentic. Paid $75 + shipping. Absolutely the best money I have ever spent as these are in my opinion hands down the best looking pair of headphones ever conceived. I don't think anything else out there really even comes close to these in the style factor. I opened the box and was like "W@W!!!". For the sound quality, I'll agree with many folks that these were quite a bit overpriced when new. $369? No way! All factors considered, maybe $200 tops. But again, they look sooooo good that $75 was a steal. I have a set of Beats Solo 2's that I paid $169 for new (on sale), and these orig Studios do sound a good bit better than those (they are overpriced as well). Nonetheless, if you are looking for something that looks super sweet on your head that sounds more than adequate, nothing else out there can touch these monsters!Read full review

I don't think this set came with that "control talk" option, even though it was in the description. Hence the 4 stars, also if you wear these too long they seem to press on the top of your head and are a little uncomfortable. They look and sound great though.

At first I thought they were wireless, but after many failed attempts at trying to connect them via Bluetooth I discovered they were not wireless. You need to buy a compatible aux cord to use these Beats. It takes two AAA batteries in the left-ear side, and the pause/play button is the "b" logo on the right. You actually need to hold this button down to keep it paused. The moment you let go, the music starts playing again. Overall I am happy with the sound, the durability, the lightweight design, and the case it came in. It sounds good - especially for the price I bought them for.
