I've had huge frustrations trying to get a front mounted child bike seat to fit my bike. This one nearly fit, but for the price we were happy to tinker around and modify it a little to make it fit. I'm really happy with it, but I understand modifying is not what most people want to do so here is the combination of things that made the seat not fit my bike 1. my bike is the smallest adult size (the advert does mention it may not fit small bikes so you may want to take that advice, unlike me!) 2. my bike is a hybrid so whilst I don't lean very far forward like with a racer, I am still not upright enough for my short little arms to comfortably reach the handlebars with the baby in between. 3. Female type bike frame where the top tube is on a steeper angle from the front to the back of the bike. This top bar gets in the way of the child seat. So we bent it. Which was actually really hard to do as the bar was very thick & strong metal. Which is a good thing! In saying all that it fit my husband's bike perfectly. I would still recommend it!! But if you have a small, female bike, with handlebars that are not very upright, you may be better off looking for a rear mounted bike seat.Read full review

Won’t work with my bike because it requires to be installed in a very specific position in order to work properly and that spot is not available on my bike because of rear brakes and gears cables eyelets. It wasn’t clear from the product photos that it could not be adjustable at all. Product itself seems to be good quality unfortunately I can’t use it.

Pros - great value and works well. Baby loves it as she can see (have seat front facing). Cons - installation took longer than expected as it couldn't sit flush with my bike frame due to knob where my gear wires go into the frame (my bike has internal cabling). My bike - reid urban-x1 Note need a screw driver to install in addition to the supplied allen key.

Great bike seat, I was looking at more expensive branded seats and saw this. Gave it a go in case my little one didn’t like being on a bike and she loves it. Easy to fit and adjust. Fits both mine and my wife’s bikes. Harness is a little awkward to use, but not enough to annoy me. The quick release to remove it is great so you can take it off easily when baby is not coming with you. Can’t wait to go out again!

Ok overall but abit of diy drilling the hole wider that locks the seat in place as the holes do not line up. Also the strap that goes across the chest should have a open and close snap as fitting over babys head is not possible once helmet is on, yes put on helmet after you say? With a wriggly baby speed is of upmost importance, no fluffing around. As it is strap needs to be undone each time.
