I bought 2 of these as a means to get into the city to catch the tram. Unfortunately, Australia is a nanny state and I learnt there is $2000 worth of fines if the police catch you driving this unlicensed motor vehicle... I hope this will changes soon as there is a trial in Brisbane for this mode of transport and trials planned in Sydney. Fortunately, I live near a lake with a dam and cycle path not visible from the road, so the kids and I ride the scooters there away from the watchful eyes of the authorities. I have to say, they are very nice units, well constructed and perform extremely well. I weigh 95KG and although they will spin up to 34kph with no load, they will only get me up to 24kph on the flat which is within legal tolerance for an electric scooter in Australia. Endurance of the 10 amp hour unit is great, at least 1 hour, we have got well over that with intermittant use in the driveway and then at the lake.Read full review

Waste of money, I try to use this for a 5km trip and battery needs to be charged for 5 hours if I want to use it on the return trip. Not only does the battery die quickly, when fully charged max speed is 18kph, 20kph if your going downhill. Very disappointed...

Don't buy it, because the battery dead easily, the warranty is a lie, ask for replace, no one answer you

Still going strong after 200km of use. Good battery distance. And a nice carbon fibre design.
