I've always liked BOSS stuff, so it came as no surprise to me that this distortion unit turned out to be really great. The presets are convenient, the eq is well thought out, there's bypass and power on the front panel (I don't use it often enough that I want to have a footswitch cluttering things up). The rack is good quality, and fits other brands as well (I have an alesis nanocompressor in the other spot). I use a bi-amped system, with this BOSS distortion on the High-pass side, about 50:50 wet/dry, leaving the Low-pass side clean, giving the bass a raging, knarly tone and still has plenty of kick on the bottom end.

I bought this Boss Rpw7 Power Supply from Japan. I also purchased a step down adaptor also from Japan to lower 110-130 Volts US into 100 volts Japan voltage to power up the Boss RPW7 to the right voltage to make sure the electronics inside won't get fried. The item works very well and still in good condition. Now my Boss Micro rack unit collection is complete and it's awesome.

It is a good solid dependable power supply. It will only handle 5 pedals, but that's good enough for my setup. I really like it.
