    Enjoyable light weight movie with a good cast and wonderful scenery. Interesting to see Martin Clunes in the role that led to the Doc Martin series.

    This is one of those feel good movies that is entertaining, engaging and has a good ending. The cast fit the roles exceedingly well and the settings and scenery add to the total package.

    Feel good comedy with enough drama to make you care about the outcome

    love this film:) pleasant past life preincarnation of Doc Martin it seems. Beautiful scenery, great English humour with emphasis on Cornish life. Says laughter and community is the key not the weed.

    The inspiration for Doc Martin

    I believe this was the inspiration for Doc Martin Vol 1 & 2 and later the series. Some of the characters in this movie filmed in Port Isaac (Port Wenn in the series) also appear in the movie. Not a bad movie and quite entertaining too.
