Very good expresso machine.
For starters,it looks great (bought the red one). After reading the manual (helps!) the setting up of the machine is quite easy. This is the second Barista Express I have purchased, the first being for my beach house rental. When set up correctly - grind, volume etc the espresso dispesed by this machine is rich and smooth. The integrated volumetric grinder means very little mess and wastage. Grind adjustment is simple and easy, facilitating the perfect 30 second extraction. Pretty good all round
Pretty good time saver all round. There are just 2 things I wish for: 1.- A light or a better way to deliver the ground coffee in to the portafilter; like maybe a full size portafilter, so the coffee doesn't fall out all the time. 2.- Hotter coffee, the hot water and pressurizer just don't get hot enough. So you can never make a hot coffee. Otherwise pretty good all round.
