Clairol shimmer lights
I was using this in order to make my blonde ashier and less brassy after I bleached my hair (asian hair, which has more warm tones) I used it twice and left it on the second time for longer as it said to on the bottle but it didnt make my blonde much less brassier as i thought, but what was I thinking? I had only just bleached my hair so it's surely too brassy and the blonde tone was too high to tone down. This product didn't work the first time for me. I decided to then get a ash blonde hairdye to tone my hair down, it didn't make a great difference but helped. However after a few washes with shimmer lights (3 so far) it's slowly making my orangey hair less orange, now quite blonde and I will continue to use shimmer lights til i get a more ash blonde result! I recommend finding a good toner OR dying your hair after any bleaching THEN using shimmer lights. Would def work better. Has never made my hair turn purple after leaving on for too long. Pro is it does however brighten your hair/any dullness as it says. I'd give 4/5 stars

Smelled terrible!!!
I went to the salon and had my hair done, they washed it with this exact shampoo and it smelled great! When I got it, the smell was horrible!!! Like a bug spray/chemical smell. I think the shampoo had been switched!

Definitely shows a difference with first wash. Taking away that orangy brassy tone. I recommend using the shampoo and conditioner as well. I also use a strong repair conditioner afterwards as it can leave your hair a little dry if used often 💆‍♀️

Great product for hilighting the grey
This shampoo and conditioner are excellent for making your gray hair more "silvery". It really removes yellowness that sometimes tends to be in gray hair, and turns it a beautiful silver. I have used it for 3 weeks now and i have really noticed a difference. You don't have to use it every shampoo - I use it about every 4 or 5 days, using my regular shampoo in between....

I dyed my hair grey/blonde with light purple highlights and it was really hard to notice the purple & blonde highlights so I tried using this shampoo/conditioner and it helped the colors come out so much better! I love this stuff and will definitely continue to buy these products. They are also much cheaper than other silver shampoos/conditioners I have used in the past. If you're trying to get the light colors in your hair to stick out, I definitely recommend these products.

I have very long thick hair. Previously dyed a light/medium blonde. I re-colored my hair to a lighter shade and to cover my roots. My hair is naturally a dark blonde, so after recoloring my roots came out a yellow bronze. I used this product on "dry" hair for my first application to help remove the bronze and add some shimmer. I rubbed the shampoo throughout my entire head, messaged it into the roots. I let it sat for 15-20 mins. Swoosh! Bronze was gone. Now it did take almost half the bottle to do my hair because I have so much of it. But since I have gotten rid of the of the bronze, I'll use this shampoo and condition once a week or every other. I only use just enough to lather and condition. I following the instructions for shower use. This does not leave my hair super smooth after getting out of the shower, its actually kind of hard to brush through. Once my hair is dry though, my hair is soft. I would recommend this product because it does what its supposed to do. I wouldn't use it every time you wash your hair, I don't feel its meant to completely replace its your regular shampoo and conditioner. I love it and it works for me.

Yellow to silver!
