Scratching is an intrinsic, natural feline behavior. Indoor-only cats feel an innate compulsion to scratch, but sometimes they do it in inconvenient places — like your leg. This marks their territory for anyone who might be walking by. You’re not the only one suffering. Many pet owners call this common behavior “Love scratching,” but feline behaviorists have given it a more formal name: Lack-of-scratching-post-induced aggression—and it’s a poorly understood topic. Unless you have time to better understand this topic you would do well to buy this scratching post. It allows the cat of choice to scratch in a dedicated place. They can also hide from children in it. Its a win win for everybody.

I've had SOOOO many cat trees over the years andy cat is just a big cat (not fat just big 4.8kg) And she has always been too big to fit ontop or sleep in cat trees because they are more kitten size. Whilst this is not a huge item it really caters for a larger cat. She can sleep inside it or on-top and not be hanging off the edges or trying to fit into something that is not built for her so just ends up a giant scratching post. Very happy with quality and size! I wish there were more larger platform ones out there!

Great product, my cat likes it but has not yet explored its full potential yet, but she does take a while to get used to new things. it is well built and will last many years I think.

Great product and price! Don't pay retail, this is as good as the multi level cat towers I have seen in pet shops. My cat Charlie loves it.

Our cat thought it was great. She climbed and played on it for hours. Had started to scratch it now took a few days
