This is an upgrade from my old portable grill. It heats more evenly and grills good for a small portable grill. Not real happy with the leg lock whatever. If that was better designed I would have gave it a 5 star review.

Very basic lightweight grill. Does not get very hot,only one burner. No temperature gauge. Flimsy sliding cover/ hinge design. Not a fixed hinge. Burned fore arm on first use! Spark lighter does not light on first spark,meanwhile gas is on so burner lights with a "whoosh" of flame. Keep face away from grill when lighting!! Will probably return unit.

First off let me say. I am a charcoal guy to the bone We got this propane unit because our state is under fire restriction and burning charcoal is illegal when camping in the national forests. The temprature is hard to control. It goes out if I turn it to low with the lid on. There seamed to be a lack of oxygen getting to the burner so I drilled a few 1/2" holes in the front wall near the bottom and its working much better now.

We used the grill on a camping trip to northern Wis. and it worked just as it should without any problems of any kind, would recommend it. It is very good quality so I expect it to last us for a number of years. We have Char Broil grill on our deck which we bought 15 years ago and it still is working just fine..
