Good size, nice weight, stylish, extremely legible, beautiful watch.
I must say I love this watch; I love the look of it & I love the feel of it. I was looking to buy a solid, chunky, modern watch, but in the simple style of the old army field watches. I also wanted the latest solar tech & had decided on the Citizen Eco Drive watches. One critical criterion for me was that it should be easy for my ageing eyes to read (this is the problem I have with my current watch), so it needed to have a large face, decently large numerals & contrasting hand & face colours. Nowadays there are so many watches which appear to be designed just for style, with black hands on black faces & white hands on white faces; these may be OK for younger, sharper eyes, but are no good for older eyes. The legibility of this watch is excellent; I have no trouble reading it at all & even in low light conditions, & was exactly what I was looking for. I also wanted the watch to have a long enough minute hand, reaching close to the minute marks, so that one could more accurately read the time. This watch meets that criterion too. Finally I wanted good luminescence on all 3 hands. The luminescence on this watch is quite a beautiful blue, with the hour & minute hand being fully lit & the tip of the second hand being lit. There is a luminescent dot at each quarter hour. It looks quite lovely when brightly lit up. The canvas strap adds to the authentic look of the field watch style, it is lined on the inside & is very comfortable on the wrist. My only criticism of this watch is that the date is very small & almost impossible for me to read, unless I swivel the watch around to try to get light hitting it at the right angle. I would have loved it to have a nice big date window, but I just have to live with that one deficiency. Overall this is now my favorite watch.Read full review

A basic watch that looks good
The watch is great it's easy to see what time it is at a glance day or night and it looks good. The only problem I had was the band was to small and I had to buy a new band, which was a bummer as I like the band that came with the watch, otherwise I'm very happy with the watch.
