1 - You have to assemble it yourself which is fine as long as the instruction manual referrs to the model you have (and not a generic one where you have to search and figure out which pages apply or not). 2 - Critical missing parts (e.g. brake-pad nubs) 3 - Damaged/Broken components (front wheel rack, back reflecting light) It's not about the material cost of having those replaced, but the time lost to go/find a bike shop whom have the components and willing to give/sell them to you at a decent price and accept to assemble your bike, especially if you did not buy it from their shop.

I love my new bike!!!! I can carry it up my 6 step patio with no problem. It's not super light but not overly heavy either. It rides really great too. Oh and for all those leisure around town bikers, the seat is soft and comfy.
