Been using D`Add`s exclusively now for the past 40 yrs. No other strings can hold their tune, outlast the performance and tone as good as these. There are other great strings out there, but cannot compare in all three categories as these do. Also, it takes a lot for me to break one of these. I am a lead guitar player that bends strings a hell of a lot. When I`m strumming, I strum hard! Can`t remember the last time I changed a set before one broke on me. Very, very important when I was giggin`! By the way, I use this particular set on all of my electrics, .009 -.042 pretty thin!

I normally use D'Addario 9's, but lately I have been wanting to try thicker strings, but 10's seem a bit thick and stiff, so these 9.5's worked well for me. They have good dynamic range, I can hear lows, mids and highs clearly. These are very comfortable and sound great!

The D'Addario EXL 120 are my favorite Super Light string to play chords on my SLICK SL 50 guitar, I tried the Ernie Ball, but I like the feeling better with the D'Addario, and the price is more or less the same, but cheaper when you buy the 3 sets. And anyways; t is always good to have a back up set of strings, you never know when you are going to break a string.
