I realised I had not seen this Bond film so obtained it cheaply ebay after some effort. What a lot of old rubbish. I was warned how bad it would be by the introductory music, which is easily the worst of any James Bond movie. While I am not a fan of, or believe in the acting ability of Daniel Craig; he far exceeded my expectations by being wooden, hyperactive (would have won 10 field gold medal at the Olympics), and totally unfunny except where he was supposed not to be. The plot was lost several times and so I would not recommend this film to anyone except to those who want to see how not to produce a James Bond film. Any redeeming features. Yes, one, the photography was superb, and some of the action scenes excellent technically. See at your peril, but to me it was a waste of time ... Better if you've watched casino royale
I didn't like this film as much as other bond films when it first came out. Since red watching it, it's just as good as the other films, however, it does follow on from Daniel Craig's first outing as bond in casino royale and some things may not make sense.
