Sounds pretty good. It needs a little more high end. It had a bit of a grounding problem. There's a slight hissing sound, and if you touch the input connector with your finger it goes away. That's the main problem. It fits well and sounds good for the price.

This pickup easily slides in place (takes 5 seconds) I was just putting a mic up to the acoustic prior to this purchase and this pickup gives me 10x the volume and a much more cleaner signal. I have way more tone control from my amp or PA when I play through either. This is obviously not a scientific review of the product but for the price and ease of use, this is an absolute slam dunk purchase to anyone's music gear toy room. It's construction is solid, with a classic wood look and passes the ear test with flying colors. Rock the masses my friend.

I just bought this to amp a cheaper small-body Alvarez in my garage on an amateur level. Small-bodied acoustics can sound shallow and funny but you hear none of that through this pickup. The sound is pretty full and amazingly clear. I'm running it into an old Radio Shack mixer and tha sounds every bit as clean as a humbucker noise-wise, yet clearer. It makes my composite bodied guitar on a cheap old mixer sound like a new $1000 instrument. For this price I was glad I got one.

It is very easy to mount on the guitar and the cord is plenty long enough. It doesn't have as much volume as I expected but it is alright for me.

I bought this pickup because it was uniquely inexpensive. It's takes about 30 seconds to install, and reproduces the resonance of the solid top acoustic pretty well. No complaints, since less than $30 is incredibly cheap.
