I have this in the bridge position, and in the neck position I have a Seymour Duncan Nazgul bridge pickup, and the volume between them is perfectly balanced. The Nazgul has a dc resistance of 13.6k ohms. So any pickup with a DC resistance between about 13k and 14.5k should match perfectly in the neck with the X2N-B in the bridge. Has a very clear and strong sound. Good volume balance between strings. The fundamental note and lower harmonics come through very strong, and higher harmonics are more quiet, so it does have a somewhat darker sound, but in a very pleasant way. Very smooth sound. You can kind of compare it to the tone of a Seymour Duncan Invader bridge, but much stronger signal, smoother sound, and quieter mids.
