This is a good value toy but it's too noisy for my cats and a little large also (ball is about the size of a tennis ball but plastic). It would be GREAT for a small dog. Also it's worth noting that there is no auto cut off for this toy. You have to open the ball and manually move the switch to off - on the motor- to stop the battery supply and switch the toy off.

The box states that it is for in water which I wasn't going to use in water. It runs on batteries which I put in and nothing happened. Changed them around Still nothing tried 2 other batteries still didn't work. I opened 2nd box [bought 2] did the same put in batteries nothing neither worked.

Plastic ball is flimsy, and pops off the thread. Batteries hard to get in, and fall out if it gets a jolt. Hard to turn off as the switch is on the motor which is constantly spinning. Poor quality

The plastic halves of the ball keep falling apart, they should be screwed together or better still, made of soft rubber.

No switch to turn on/off. We've had similar toys with the switch and they are much better. This one is useless.
