I wish it was carbon fiber but for the price I cannot complain. I dont use the last legs since its a little fragile. I hate the twist locks though I wish it was the snap clicks like the other Dolicas. But its sturdy, 12.5 inches folded and can fit inside my camera bag. Ball head is typical 3/8 thread

On paper, this tripod sounds like a good deal. But, as with many things you get what you pay for. My most concerning issue is the ability to obtain additional plates for other cameras and lenses. So far, that's been a fruitless search. This means that if I lose the camera plate I need to buy a new clamp/ballhead or throw this tripod away. I've used this tripod on two outings, so far. The rubber covering on the twist grips is coming lose, and the rubber feet are wearing. As with the plate I don't know if replacement parts are available. After each use I've had to disassemble the tripod legs to get them to retract properly. I've never done that before. I hope this thing lasts a year.

Wish it was a little more stable but these compact ones are light and I believe this is the best one for the money

This tripod is very well built and very sturdy for its size. Great design, fit and finish. I almost spent $200 for a mefoto and realized I can get the same quality for a fraction of the price. Highly recommend Dolica. This is one 3 that own all three different models one being carbon fiber. None have disappointed so far.
