This baby smokes when it comes to rendering projects in Premiere Pro CC and After Effects CC. This was made for this. It is basically 2 cards in one. It contains dual GPU's. If you are looking for a gaming device, the 1080GTX is a little cheaper. This only gives a small % gain over the single GPU in the 1080, but that is what comes with new technology. You can run them in dual mode, and dedicate one to physics, which would work great, but then your spending the more $$ than I spent on this card.

The Titan Z is a great graphics card, but not sure if it is worth the money for gaming users only. Just a slight edge for gaming over SLI GTX 780's, and I know for a fact SLI GTX 980's would produce better results. The Titan Z is a great graphics card for gaming only if you have 3 monitors, and need the VRAM to push games at high/ultra settings. Obviously, fan is noisy at 100%, which is required to keep Z from reaching high temps, but if you put aggressive fan profile, you can keep temps under control with stock cooler. I can only recommend this graphics card for rendering and design professionals, and I would be hard pressed to recommend for gaming only, since there are lower cost, equal to better performing options on the market. Also, please note that the Titan Z takes up 3 slots on motherboard with stock cooler installed. Would perform better on water.Read full review
