Following the success of their million-selling debut album XOXO, EXO broke into its subunits, the Korean EXO-K and Chinese EXO-M, for the mini-album Overdose. The title track features an R&B-influenced production by the Underdogs -- who helped another K-pop group, Girls' Generation, score a major 2014 hit with "Mr. Mr." -- that showcases both the band's rapping and multi-layered harmonies. The rest of Overdose delivers different facets of EXO's sound, spanning the ballad "Moonlight," the funky pop of "Thunder" and "Run," and the hip-hop-flavored closing track, "Love, Love, Love," all of which should please those who liked what they heard on XOXO. ~ Heather Phares
