Three battery backup ports, three more surge protected ports. This is easy to set up, just plug it in and turn it on. It beeps quietly in the event of power outage and runs for a long time protecting HDDs from sudden power loss and keeping my modem going. This is the second I have bought, the first is still in use and works perfectly after over a year.

After recently experiencing intermittent power black-outs, I decided to get a UPS to avoid possible damage to my computer when power was restored. My requirements were very simple...just supply enough power to keep my iMac (and data) safe. Installation was a breeze and the PowerPanel software keeps track of any interruption. The 4 surge protected outlets keep my tv, pvr, dvd and apple tv safe from power surges. NOTE: these outlets are surge protected only. They don't provide battery backup. There are another 4 outlets that do provide surge and battery backup. The unit works as described and I'm extremely happy with it. The peace of mind it provides is worth the price alone. If your power needs aren't great, I recommend this device unreservedly. There are other CyberPower UPS's available if you need more power.Read full review

I did quite a bit of research before deciding which UPS to buy for my office and am glad I chose the Eaton product. My decision was based on other reviews so hopefully this review might help someone else. I wanted a UPS that had a reasonably small footprint. This one takes up the size of approx. 2 power boards side by side. I read of several issues with fan noise in other UPS models (not Eaton) and made my final decision based on people saying how quiet this UPS is. I'm not disappointed, it makes no noise. The downloading of the software to monitor the UPS required a few steps and could be made a simpler process but once downloaded and running it has a good interface and is easy to configure. I bought the 700VA model and it is more than adequate for my use with a PC, modem and monitors. I've tested it several times by manually switching off the power point and have had a power flick as well and it performed perfectly. Very pleased with the unit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a UPS.Read full review

I've only used it for about a week now & the only issue I've noticed is the EcoControl powerpoint don't seem to be working as advertised. My desktop computer is plugged into the master slot & my secondary monitor is plugged into the EcoControl slot. However, when I power down the desktop computer, the secondary monitor doesn't power down too. Not a deal breaker, but worth noting. Otherwise, it appears to be working.

This UPS does what's it's designed to - provide temporary power in the event of a power failure at home / business. I found this out when I just installed it and accidentally pulled the main plug off the power socket. The unit made a 'beep' and my iMac and PS4 kept on running as if it's still got mains power! It gives you enough time to turn your PC or device off. Love it
