Nice feature in any kitchen. Instruction book not clear at all. Kettle doesn't seem to switch off automatically. Once off and the temperature drops, it boils again. Once boiled I have to power off the kettle, only disadvantage. A little pricey but looks nice and blends with any colour in the kitchen.

Good pot with 800w element still heats water quickly and quietly although may take 6-10mins for a full pot. No plastic in contact with water except silicone seal for temperature probe ideal which is what I wanted. Also has for good temperature and heating functions, keep warm control and temp feedback display. Would have kept the kettle but is has a bad off gassing plastic smell that was so strong it could be tasted in tasted water and the whole room filled with this smell had to take it outside. Tried cleaning it several times and aerating it outside for a week but the smell didn't go away. Another thing was it is not registered for use in Australia and is missing the RCM mark.

great design except the glass was too thin and of poor quality for a jug this size.It just cracked.Obviously manufacturer went for price over performance
