From Church Sound Operator: Great Crisp Voice Microphone, with wide Range, but will not handle a lot of Gain especially when you have small stage and 2 more EV ND76 Microphones. Also you have to keep low -2 from center and high -1 from center. Its very rich voice microphone for preaching and singing. if you looking for microphone that will handle a lot of gain, use (SE V7) Microphone only for singing very close to mouth. SE V7 Microphone is not wide Range Also. So you decide :-)

I am an apprentice square dance caller, and about a month ago, my mentor had me try out a few Electro-Voice microphones to see what worked with my vocal range and characteristics best. At the time, I was using a Pyle mic, but it just wasn't doing it...where she would have the gain turned up maybe 1/4 on the mixer, the Pyle would need to be turned up to 1/2 or more. We decided on an Electro-Voice ND757, but I couldn't find a new one. Where I could be doing this professionally, I wanted a new one. I saw the listing from Boynton for an ND76, and decided to make the purchase. I got to try it out a week ago, and I am beyond pleased. The ND76 get my vocal profile perfectly. And it doesn't hurt that the gain setting on the mixer is comparable to the other microphones I tried. I think I am really going to enjoy using the Electro-Voice ND76.Read full review

I got this as a backup for my EV ND767a. I love that mic, much better than an sm58. Warmer, clearer, louder. This replaces the ND767a. The only difference is it's a cardiod instead of super cardioid like the ND767a. We're an acoustic act so gain before feedback is rarely an issue. If I'm on a loud stage I would probably use the ND767a but for what I do these are both great and I one blows over and lands right on the windscreen and quits working I'll have a backup. This was actually $20 cheaper than any ND767 I could find.

A good product, haven't had the opportunity to work the microphones in the setting they were purchased for, but they seem to work well and be a little hotter mic than the 767. Pleased at this point

very crisp and with clarity that is very good, easy to hold and has good balance without being too heavy but still a solid feel.
