I love the Fresh Sugar lip balms. The only reason I deducted a star is that this one seems to have a somewhat unpleasant taste. I use another gloss on top that tastes better. It has good saying power for a balm and keeps my lips moist and tastefully pink! I also have the berry color which is a deeper shade for a more dramatic finish.

I have to say that, despite its high price, this is by far the best lip balm I have ever used. By the way, the full-size Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment is 22.50 for clear or any tint on the Fresh Website. The Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment Advanced Therapy is described on the Fresh Website as antiaging, and sells for 25.00. These full-size products are .15oz. I'm totally addicted to the lip balm, and use it up pretty quickly, which ends up being quite costly. This is why I try to find it for less on ebay! The quality that makes these lip balms unique is that they penetrate the lips deeply, yet enough product stays on top of one's lips to last throughout the night when applied at bedtime. Additionally, the balm immediately hydrates, comforts, and soothes the lips, which feels just wonderful! If you can afford the price, these balms are totally worth it, especially if you are older and your skin is drier than in the past. If you are younger and still have full, plump lips that do not particularly dry out, I find the egg-shaped Eos balms to be good. At my age (almost 62, and a product-junkie) the Fresh balms are fabulous, really do what the are supposed to do, and are totally worth the price!Read full review
Would definitely purchase again, great value for the full sized product.

I have tried all the shades of colors this product comes in and always prefer the results I get from this original clear. It's very pricy and hard to justify. But when my lips are really a mess, then I do get out tubes of this and use it exclusively. I don't lick my lips so I can put it on before bed and it is still on my lips when I wake in the AM. Wish they would figure out a way to make this with a price point of not over $12 max. I am trying Jack Black lip treatment (on it's way) as I hear that is many bloggers fav lip treatment. It's a lot cheaper than is Fresh Sugar Lip Treatment. It makes a very nice gift when you have no idea what to get someone. But make sure they know it's extremely high end so they don't think you have been cheap with their gift. It does not last very long either. You can finish off a tube in 2 weeks! OUCH on the wallet!Read full review
This winter has been hard on my lips. I have found myself reaching again and again for my Chapstick. I like Chapstick but working as a professional woman I needed treatment and a bit of a makeup polish. Fresh's Sugar lip treatment is now my go-to lip balm. It sinks promptly into my lips making them immediately softer and smoother. I can feel the protection and the coverage. I love the colors, sheer but not too sheer giving a nice pop to my lips that is not overwhelming. With regular use it heals really rough, dry lips within a few days. It has its downsides. For one, it is very expensive. A full sized balm stick is $22.50 at a well-known makeup retailer. For another, it does have to be re-applied regularly throughout the day. I haven't tried other high end balms, but it sure beats Burt's Bees, Chapstick and other drugstore treatments. It is rich, protective and healing.Read full review
