After installing one of these, I was quite happy with the end result. This install is not for the technically challenged, so with that said, this battery is preforming like A brand new device. Easily getting 48 hours up time with low usage, lasting all day with normal usage is never an issue with about 70% charge remaining, though I would consider myself A light user. These batteries seem to be the real thing no A cheap knock-off, making the effort you put into changing your battery worth it. Great buy!

This battery worked perfect for about three months. After that I would get occasional (roughly one week apart) issues where my phone would turn off ant not turn on again until I put the phone on the charger. Then, a few days ago, my phone turned off and would not turn on no matter what. I took the phone apart and it seems that the cable connecting the battery to the phone was torn and barely making a connection. I took the phone apart to get a batter look and when I removed the battery, the cable tore completely. I am sure this must be a defect because I was very careful to install this battery carefully and correctly.

Battery is a perfect fit for my Moto X Pure edition phone. Now the phone charges and stays charged like it was new again! The phone is a power hog, so having a fresh battery is all the more important. The process for changing out the battery is not for the faint of heart, though. If its something you've never attempted, go slow and keep your work space organized so the parts don't get lost. The included driver tools are pretty much useless. The 20 screws that need to be removed for access to the battery are T-4 (Torx size 4)--the set that comes with this battery does not include a T-4 driver. Be sure you have the right tool set with a T-4 driver before stripping down your phone to change out the battery. Watch a couple YouTube videos before getting into this if its your first time, and, word to the wise, do not remove the silver screw that holds the volume buttons in unless you want to lose some tiny springs! It is an unnecessary step for a battery changeout on this phone. Overall, a great sub-twenty dollar investment that will enable me to keep this phone going for at least another year 'till I can afford a new phone.Read full review

This battery lasts much longer than my original battery. My phone was purchased on Moto maker Sept 2015. So my original battery was well used. I can go 2 days + on light usage and 1 full day on heavy usage.

No way this is OEM. Out of the box it was at 70% original capacity. Lasted about 5 months, with consistent performance. Capacity fell off a cliff over the last week and phone now shuts off at 50% - battery shot. Swapping the original back in to get a few more months out of this phone.
