A tiny titan of Light
I became a big fan of Fenix flashlights this past year after appreciating the quality & performance-now this LD15R is my 7th! It’s become one my favourites due to the practical aspects of a hands free option-being a right angle light & hook it to your jacket zipper for example or use the magnetic base. I love the warm beam flood quality-which differs a lot from let’s say my LD22 (2015) which is far reaching narrow whiter beam-each torch has a different application. In this case the LD15R is great for proximity lighting-note however best to use the lower lumen settings-the turbo is best for momentary illumination as it will not function at full 500 lumens if power (ie the green light is flashing only at full battery power ie steady green light) otherwise it is programmed to power down to ... I love this tiny! Titan of light with its multi function aspects like the dual red leds which is great for night vision (other reviews have a problem with it having to go from white first then to red-this can be easily remedied by just covering the light with your finger as it’s just a moment before it switches from white to red. Remember that this light also has a memory function only in the white mode-so for example if your on high white & switch to red -when you revert to white it will be on high-I quite like this memory feature & also there’s no real need for lock out of the torch as the top power button is sufficient as you need to press it down enough to shut off the power. Overall a worthy tool like another reviewer said it like the Swiss army of flashlights-very small form factor but effective with good battery power for lower lumen levels but not so much in turbo mode as I mentioned above. Tiny titan.
Great hands free illumination. Function is exceptional and the recharge port greatly enhances battery longevity. The infrared spectrum is great for activity in a dark environment where you want to preserve your night vision or are following a blood trail. My buddies already want one for their own.

Very happy with this little flashlight so far. If I had any wish it would be that the battery would hold longer, but considering how tiny this thing is, and how powerful, it is totally understandable. Great flashlight!
