At this time, it may be the best mirrorless camera on the market. Fuji's image quality with their proprietary sensor and no Bayer array has been exemplary from the beginning, but the increase in megapixels from 16 to 24 has raised the bar quality another notch. And the ease of doing things that require wading through menus on other manufacturer's models is a joy to use - very retro, but extremely practical and intuitive for many of the functions one needs to change during a shoot. If you read some of the reviews, and go to the specs, you will understand why I am sold on the Fuji line and have sold my DSLRs. Weight, sharpness, ease of use, innovation, etc. have sent me running to mirrorless for the future.

I have had a number of fuji mirrorless cameras, and have liked them all. This is an addition to my XT1. The increase from 16.3 to 24 megapixels is noticeable, the new way of selecting focus point is much preferable to the old, and the camera just seems easier to use than the XT1. It is also extremely solidly built and weather resistant. I am planning to get the battery grip to increase the speed of the camera as well. The fuji lenses are worthy of the camera, esp the primes.

I have been shooting with an X-T1 since it was released. That camera was alright, but not great at flash exposures and a little slow with the AF speed. I also wished that the mechanical shutter went to 1/8000 and synced at 1/250. This camera seems to have addressed my issues and has been well worth the upgrade. Not to mention the sensor upgrade. Also, now third parties are starting to recognize FUJI as a contender and are now marketing compatible flashes and lenses.

Everything is amazing i couldn't be happier. this camera was one of my best investments. it has an oled view finder, the lcd display of the camera is super high quality, you will fell a lot of nostalgia since all the settings like Sutter speed, ISO, mode and a couple of other things are outside like you have to turn stuff like in the old times. so for me is the best since i learn photography in a film camera and changing to this one is just feel like home but with a lot of great features. i love that you also have film simulators and the just look great. one of my very best investments of my life since just couple days shutting outside ppl started ask me for photo sessions and remember that with the battery grip it give you two extra batteries and you also can record in 4K only with the gripRead full review

I used to have Sony a7 ii but decided to switch after using my friend’s xt2 for a couple weeks. In my opinion, xt2 has greater image quality and better control and handling. And the Fuji also got great and cheap lens, which is great for us poor college students.
