They sound as good as many headphones that cost almost twice as much; to my ears the bass end in particular is nice and clear without being overbearing; prior to using these I was using AKG K701 headphones, and the difference in sound quality is essentially negligible in all the ways that really matter. 🙂

The sound quality is amazing. I love being able to listen to HD audio and feel as if I'm listening to the music live. Listening back to my own vocals and guitar has become a lot richer and more detailed since I started using these headphones. Its easy to forget the headphones are there. Only downside is if you leave them on too long they'll warm up a little but all in all really great headphones.

Comfy for hours of studio mixing/listening or if you just want neutral reference quality headphones . I bought after talking with the artist Ambinate and finding out he mixes his songs on them and so now I can listen to how his mixes should sound.

I got these when I lost my HD 280 studio headphones that I loved. The reviews on these seemed praiseworthy, but both the noise cancellation is low and the sound that leaks from the phones when wearing them is high. Good for studio uses. Pretty poor when trying to be quiet, or are in a loud environment. Pay the extra $20 and get the HD 280s instead.

The headphones are very comfortable and deliver clear precise sound. Bottom of the price range for this level of headphone but definitely not bottom of the quality range.
