The Nikon F6 is undoubtedly the king of film cameras. As the last serious film SLR released by Nikon, it more than satisfies the user's expectations. I have an F100 and I thought it was really great before I bought the F6. The F6 gives you an exquisite experience. The moment you hold it in your hands you know it is a class above the rest. As most professionals have gone digital, the F6 is expected to meet the demands of serious amateurs, who are definitely not disappointed. The F6 boasts top-of-the-line build quality. Those of us who don't have the cash to buy a D3 can experience how a D3 makes you feel simply by handling the F6. The view finder is super bright and the AF is fast. Those who think an FX camera is too expensive can have an FF experience simply by playing with an F6. Recommended without reserve.Read full review
The Nikon F6 is undisputed leader of the 35mm film SLR category. By now, there are hardly any film cameras made, so its a good thing that Nikon still makes the F6. I have previous experience with Nikon F5 and can directly compare it. The F6 exudes much the same solidity and quality that the F5 is famous for. However, there is a real downside to carrying the F5 everyone -- its too big and heavy. The F6 addresses that issue very nicely. Its much the same size as my Nikon D300 (a little bigger perhaps), but is in no way too bulky to carry. I could carry this all day long without breaking my back or neck. The other improvement compared to the F5 is the viewfinder. It seems much clearer and has a more advanced 11-point AF system, (compared to the 5-point system in the F5). Both are super-fast. Somehow I feel that the F5 is swifter in focussing but the F6 is no slouch. They both put to shame AF systems in any current DSLR. Film is still king and the F6 is the king of all film cameras.Read full review
this is a great camera. I wanted a dependable camera for a second camera in the feild. The size and weight make it easy to use. I can use any of my other Nikon lens on the F60.
This is a bargain used. Image quality as good as a $4,000 full frame digital camera

This is a fun film camera to own & use. Much lighter than the F5 I used to have. Fast focusing, low shutter lag and beautiful exposures!
