The HTC Desire A8183 is an excellent introductory phone for new smart phone users. It is certainly better than another so called smart phone that I bought from Telstra. It is also better than other HTC models, like the Wildfire. I got one of these HTC Desires each for my kids. It is easy to use and the features are good. The down side is it has very limited storage. Utilize the SD card and transfer pics to the computer or you will run out. The kids love it.
I've owned a few of these within the last year, and they never fail to perform as expected. The standing battery life is excellent, the screen is fantastic and the interface is magnificent. I never have problems, and it's just the right size. The Desire outshines many of the other phones released at the same time, with the vivid display and an aura of control in the easy-to-grasp operating system. The sleek design and colourful display works to engage it's owner - you won't want to put it down!
battery doesn't last long if you are not in a area with good coverage. It is fairly easy to use. I bought this phone as I needed a replacement phone, would probably look at more up to date version next time.
Great phone but be aware that mobile network will not work for Vodafone. If other providers have the same issues I can't tell. Anything else is easy to use.
I needed a new phone, but didn't want to pay for it.so a near new one was the way to go.i chose the HTC because it did every thing an I phone did at half the price.i have had it for almost two months now and would highly recommend it.
