The HTC wildwire S is loaded with heaps of cool features. Its really easy to use without being complicated. I easily loaded in my own mobile user setting to connect internet without hassle. I like that these string messages together and have a decent processor to keep up with various apps. Screen resolution is better that the cheaper Samsung galaxy (not S) range. Two draw backs 1 is battery life although this seems to be quite typical of the smartphones. Heavy use would be 1 full day, light use is between 2-3days maximum. 2 key board is quite close to lower onscreen control keys sometimes when typing accidentally hit these. To be fair I have big fingers and after you are aware of this isn't a problem. Big plus is that it still fits in your pocket (3.2"). Many of these newer phones are so big and bulky, pocket carrying is out. All in all this is great value for money. Similar phones carry much higher sell prices.Read full review
Takes a lttle getting used to some of the features if you've never had a HTC before. Also make sure you contact your carrier to help set up MMS or it will not work & it DOSE needs a tech to do it. But otherwise a fantastic little phone that is very adaptable to you & customisable to your style. Not an overly large phone so it is still pocket friendly & the screen size is quiet good considering. The batery life is average for a smart phone, like they all seem to be these days, but it will tell you where the power is being used & you can adjust your use of it,ie; turing off GPS when not using it. Great value for money, more reliable than an iphone with just as many features & almost as good speed.
An I phone this well never be, but then that is an upside to the HTC Wildfire S Black. If you want a phone that has all the mod cons plus a bathroom sink look else where. If you want a phone that is easy to use, only has the features you NEED to use and is smart and attractive then this may be the phone for you. HTC are always known for their good quality and ample features.
Very useful smart phone. Although it does not have large RAM and long battery life, this phone is sufficient for basic use such as internet, e-mail, GPS and viewing and listening various multimedia files. APN setting was not easy. I took almost 7 days to work out. Otherwise it is very good. Some people liked the size of machine which is not too big comparing iPhone and other smart phones.
It would of been better if when you sell the phone as unlocked, it actually is. The phone was unlocked for the use of any sim card but what you don't tell people is that only some features are unlocked. Only the Internet works with Telstra and all other sims you get no Internet and why else would you buy a smart phone for if you weren't intending on using the Internet feature. Phone works fine average battery life. Overall just a bit disapointed.
