Much better than the gun that came with the Harbor freight sand blasting cabinet. That was total junk. This one worked right out of the box, after tightening the set screws, cutting the hose to fit and assembling it to the gun and dip tube. It plugs the hose occasionally, easily fixed by covering the nozzle tip and giving a short burst of air. Lots of suction at the end of the dip tube. Quick delivery, works good.Much better than the gun that came with the Harbor freight sand blasting cabinet. That was total junk. Good Product But
If you purchase this product, before use remove the nozzle with a metric Allen wrench and either install an O ring to replace the black washer behind the nozzle or enlarge the washer hole. This washer interferes with air from jet to nozzle and subsequent media pickup. Also, lay the media pickup hose out straight in a warm environment for a few hours before use. The hose is thin and the packaging collapses it. A more rigid hose is recommended. VERY LIGHT WEIGHT
Should have known, U get what U pay for ABSOLUTELY the case with this item. Gun kept on jamming, had to stop and clear the nozzle. I was using a 5hp compressor at 120 lb. and the gun wouldn't pass enough abrasive. Took me two minutes to do a spot the size of a quarter, just trying to remove paint from steel. The seller did offer returns, but by the time U spend the $$$$$ on shipping , U are out shipping charges and have nothing to show for it. I will put it into a garage sale and hopefully recoup some $$$$ on it. Better to spend more $$$$ on a heavier, and better quality sand blaster. Just what I needed
This is just the type blaster I needed to get into small areas at a time and only needed a 30 gallon tank on compressor for the results I needed. I used it to clean some tight areas that were rusting an a mustang restoration I was doing . worked good for me
