Current slide {CURRENT_SLIDE} of {TOTAL_SLIDES}- Best Selling in Toilets
This product has been around for years, and I think it's better than any other toilet gasket. First, reinforced wax combines the sealing quality of wax with the strength of polyurethane. Also, unlike many new "wax free" gaskets, Harvey's No-Seep works great in offset pipes, where the waste line comes out from the wall to the toilet, as well as in waste lines that extend straight down from the toilet. (Many wax-free seals are too deep to work in offset lines.) Third, Harvey's No-Seep uses a plastic horn that just about guarantees that all waste will head down the pipe, assuming the seal at the toilet is made properly. Just be sure not to over-compress the seal, which is also true with wax and any seal that uses a plastic horn. The final compressed thickness of the No-Seep No 3 (which is about 1-1/8" thick) should ideally be about 3/4" and not less than 1/2". Finally, the plastic horn on the No-Seep is 2.75" in diameter, the largest I've seen. This horn mates perfectly with a flange that couples to a 3" or 4" sewer pipe. (Many other seals use horns that are only 2.5" in diameter, which is more restrictive). As with any seal containing wax, make sure the No-Seep is at room temperature (about 70 degrees) before installing.Read full review
