Author Biography
Rebecca Cook is a lifelong horseperson. She has been practicing Occupational Therapy using a Hippotherapy approach to treatment for over 20 years and is a Hippotherapy Clinical Specialist. She has instructed hippotherapy coursework through a graduate program at Western Michigan University. In her spare time she enjoys nature walks, trail riding, and reading. Erica L. Frederick is also a lifelong horseperson. She has been practicing occupational therapy since earning her occupational therapy doctorate in 2015. The Capstone portion of her education focused on developing hippotherapy interventions for children and adults with physical, cognitive, and psychosocial needs. She plans to earn her hippotherapy clinical specialist certification by 2020. In her spare time, she enjoys arts and crafts, practicing her horsemanship skills, and playing with her miniature schnauzer, Mike.
