Great smaller smartphone ahead of the bigger screen thinner iPhones eg 5, 6 & 7. The battery life is what you would expect from an older iPhone but it depends on usage. The best of the older iPhones & safer security-wise as it doesn't have NFC technology. Your information can't be hacked until you upgrade to iPhone 5 or more. A great little phone for making/receiving calls, surfing the net, using the GPS app & all the other standard features an iPhone offers without the huge price tag. Easy to operate for older people & non-tech savvy users too. Great first smartphone. Highly recommended

While the basic functionality of the phone is still good as an entry-level iPhone, it's very slow in google and loading Apps etc. The deal breaker is that the battery life is terrible. It makes the phone unusable unless you have it connected to a charger the whole time (e.g. driving, at home even when in use). If you watch the % battery life indicator, you can see it drop dramatically before your eyes (e.g. 64% to 32% in minutes). It's a shame but that's the nature of the battery used which only has a life of 500 charges according to Apple. Factor into your purchase price $15-25 for a replacement battery if you go through a third party eBay supplier and risking damage to the phone if you DIY the replacement.

My iPhone arrived safely, on time and was as specified in the advertisement. So far it has proven to be as good as or better than my previous phone (iPhone 3). The battery lasts no longer than my previous phone which I recharged at night.

Great build quality, stainless steel surround. Almost unbreakable, fits in pocket, operates IOS 9.3.5. However only 3G, slowish for downloading large files and web surfing. It's a collector's item in the US, the last one personally launched by Steve Jobs.
