The Kodak Medalist camera is an outstanding camera period!!!!! The Kodak Ektar lens is as sharp as any one of my Zeiss (T*) Hasselblad lenses and that's no bull. The camera is heavy, big and sort of hart to handle; but the 2-1/4" x 3-1/4" images it produces make all the minus's well worth it.

The same day my camera arrived, from this seller btw, I shot, processed, scanned, posted, and made a video about it. I also talked to an expert repair tech and ordered a sync flash cable. I'm all over the web as studiocarter if you want to see photos and the video. The rangefinder viewer gave me trouble but the talking tech walked me through a fix. There is a little mask that slides up and down in the eyepiece. I had to remove it. You do what you want. A good new heavy strap is a must have. It is flat out the best 6x9 camera I have and I have lots. No bellows to replace. No guessing on focus. I ordered 10 new rolls of film just for using in it.

Perfectly remained working camera. Lens, range finder, the view-finder - pure. Cosmetic state is good. The camera gives feeling of the thing made for ages. Quality of production strikes! Kodak didn't regret money for development of this model. I hope to receive very qualitative photos (yet I didn't photograph). Even the leather cover is very competently made: the lower part of a cover is made of firm plastic (any deformation in places of fastening of belts) and covered with skin, the top part of a cover completely leather and soft (it is convenient to put on emove). It will be pleasant to the people despising a plastic disposable glamour. The price certainly bolshevaty, but I am not sorry about purchase.
