Another excellent album from Kacey, and the follow-up to "Same Trailer Different Park". Like that previous album, this one is full of more great songs with those insightful and reflective lyrics, and it showcases her wonderfully clear voice. Standout tracks for me include "Biscuits", "Miserable" and the brilliant "Die Fun", which contains probably the best advice and philosophy for life I've ever heard. I can't wait for her next album.

I am generally very cautious about contemporary country music, much of which is not country in my view. Not so with this CD which is definitely country, and of a very high quality. Kacey Musgraves and her collaborators write great songs, and Kacey is a great singer. One of the best of the current crop of artistes I have heard.

The title is ironic, because she explains that is something she's not. This album is full of pleasant catchy tunes country pop style, I liked it, its not quite as good as the next one Golden Hour, which is Kacey's best work. But it is still nonetheless a very good listen, great musicianship enjoyable all the way through which seems to be what all Kacey Musgraves albums are like. A quality artist thoroughbred. Great vocals clean sounding. 4.75 out of 5

This is Kasey's second release, and like the first pulls no punches. It is what I call a pure country album and leaves a purist like me wanting more. It gets the thumb's up from me. There literally is not a bad track on this album.
